Watergardens – Stage 2

Compass Project Management was engaged by QIC to provide Design and Project Management services and also acted as the Client’s Representative on the Project. Compass Retail Delivery also provided 5 Tenancy Coordinators to QIC to deliver 120 retail tenancies and drive the delivery process to ensure a successful re-launch of the centre.

Watergardens Stage 2 added an additional 35,000m2 of GLA bringing the centre up to 115,000m2 GLA, 1500 car parks, and included an upgrade to the existing food court, cinema complex and an upgrade of the existing centre interface. Major tenancies delivered included Big W and Safeway.

The re-development consisted of an extension of the existing shopping centre, including a new supermarket and discount department store, with associated infrastructure works. Compass Retail Delivery was also involved heavily in the preparation of the Design and Fit-out Guides as well as services configurations to all specialty and anchor tenants.
